Desperate Heart is an honest project about the up and downs in life. I am using a simple symbol of a heart. The main character, Desperate Heart, is struggling living among people and it expresses its emotions; everything from irritation, loneliness to hope, and joy. At the moment, Desperate Heart is a series of humorous postcards, however I have plans to develop this project on a larger scale, like creating different gadgets and accessories. These are first six motifs, and limited edition of 300 postcards in total. After that the design will be change a little.

The short story behind this project: I find it difficult to understand all of these written and unwritten rules humans create. Most of my life I felt like an outsider. Whenever I wanted to express how I felt, it ended up in some kind of misunderstanding. One day I got very frustrated. I sat down and put all my emotions and thoughts into drawings. I knew immediately the name of this project: Desperate Heart. I believe every single person on this planet feels desperate at some point in life, but very few have the courage to admit it. The aim of this project is to help others to express their thoughts and feelings, and hopefully bring a good laugh into everyday situations. I hope you enjoy my weird sense of humor, and want to help this project grow. With all my Desperate Heart: Thank you!
