This an overview plate with the different chemical, ceramic mixes. The mix base was 50% of plaster, 25% of kaolin, and 25% of different materials, like barium, zink, bone ash, Cornish stone. Technically whatever I could find available. The mix of plaster and kaolin is also used to make molds for glass casting.

The results of this chemical experimenting were shown on an exhibition in an old prison in Bergen, Norway. The title “Frozen moment” was a metafor to all these processes this ceramic went through. The exhibition is showing one stage og these processes. Many of these pieces changed after exhibition as results of active physical and chemical changes. The exhibition space -an old prison-was also a space where the atmosphere was as if time had stopped.
