These are my newest works-a new series of drawings with pencil and oil and soft pastels. Size A2
In a context of depression as an invisible illness, I am exploring subject of relations between humans and nature, connections/disconnection with other people, and connection/disconnection with oneself. In that context I am focusing on the mental health and complexity of human emotions. In a context of art history, these works are balancing between symbolism and surrealism, also maybe touching the edges of magic realism.
