interior ceramics candle holders

These candle holders, are the test of a new series. I am working with new clay, and it is so good to explore the possibilities and limits of this clay. I am very pleased with the color and texture (grey, stone like) and it was a nice surprise to find out that this clay is waterproof even if it is not glazed.

I will do some more testes with another type of clay (also new to me) and will do some experiments with colored clay. That means I will add some stains to the clay directly. Meanwhile enjoy these new candle holders.
